RIDER TERMS & CONDITIONS & DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
By submitting a request, connecting with a driver, or using this platform ("the Service"), you ("Rider") acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Pure Information & Introduction Service Only
This platform acts solely as a communication directory and connection hub to help students find potential ride matches. We are not a transportation provider, motor carrier, taxi service, or rideshare operator. We do not own, operate, or maintain any vehicles, nor do we employ, contract, or supervise drivers.
2. Assumption of Risk & Off-Platform Interaction
Once you are provided or connected with a driver’s contact information (such as an Instagram handle, phone number, or social media profile), all further communication, planning, financial transactions, and agreements occur strictly off-platform and independent of the Service. You assume full responsibility and risk for all personal interactions, offline communications, and transit arrangements.
3. Complete Release of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service, its founders, operators, affiliates, and representatives shall NOT be held liable for any damages, losses, claims, injuries, accidents, property damage, delays, personal disputes, criminal acts, or death resulting from:
- Any ride, travel arrangement, or interaction initiated through or facilitated by this platform.
- The conduct, driving ability, safety record, background, or identity of any driver.
- Any off-platform communications or transactions (including via Instagram, Venmo, cash, or third-party messaging apps).
4. No Vetting or Background Checks
The Service does not conduct background checks, driving record verifications, vehicle inspections, or identity confirmations on drivers. You agree that it is your sole responsibility to assess your personal safety and perform any due diligence before entering a vehicle with another individual.
5. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, costs, or damages arising out of your use of the Service or your involvement in any off-platform travel arrangements.
