DRIVER TERMS & CONDITIONS & DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
By submitting your information, listing a ride, or connecting with potential riders through this platform ("the Service"), you ("Driver") explicitly agree to and accept the following terms:
1. Independent Peer-to-Peer Activity
You acknowledge and agree that you are operating strictly as an independent individual participating in a peer-to-peer expense-sharing arrangement. You are not an employee, contractor, agent, representative, or partner of the Service. The Service acts solely as an informational directory and introduction platform; it does not control, supervise, manage, or direct your driving, route, vehicle, schedule, or financial arrangements.
2. Off-Platform Transition & Cessation of Responsibility
Once contact details (such as an Instagram handle, phone number, or social media profile) are shared or connected, all involvement of the Service completely ceases. All subsequent communications, negotiations, route planning, pricing/expense splits, and safety decisions occur strictly off-platform and independent of the Service.
3. Driver Representations, Licenses & Insurance
By offering or providing a ride, you explicitly certify, warrant, and represent that:
- You hold a valid, active driver’s license in good standing.
- You own or have full legal permission to operate the vehicle being used.
- The vehicle is in safe, legal, and roadworthy mechanical condition.
- You carry active auto insurance coverage that meets or exceeds all legal requirements in the jurisdictions where you operate.
- You are solely responsible for verifying whether your personal auto insurance policy allows for passenger expense-sharing or peer-to-peer rides.
4. Complete Limitation & Release of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service, its owners, operators, developers, and affiliates shall NOT be held liable for any damages, expenses, injuries, accidents, property loss, vehicle damage, passenger misconduct, personal disputes, traffic violations, criminal acts, or legal claims arising out of or related to:
- Any ride, interaction, or agreement initiated or facilitated through the Service.
- The behavior, safety, background, or identity of any rider connected via the Service.
- Any off-platform communications or payment exchanges (including via Instagram, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or cash).
5. Indemnification
You agree to fully defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service, its founders, and its team against any third-party claims, liabilities, lawsuits, judgments, legal fees, or financial losses caused by or arising from your operation of a vehicle, your conduct, or your interactions with riders connected through the Service.
6. Right to Terminate Access
The Service reserves the right to remove, suspend, or block any Driver profile or listing at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
